Oct FRG Mtg Notes

An official date has been set for the 787 MP BN Harvest Festival. It will be held on Saturday, October 24. It is, in essence, two separate activities. Families/individuals can attend either and/or both. The first will be an activity at 10am. Those wanting to participate will meet at Meyers Tree and Berry Farm (http://meyertreeandberryfarm.com/). Entrance will be paid by the BN for all soldiers and family members. Meyers Tree and Berry Farm has a hay ride, pumpkin patch, etc (if families want to purchase pumpkins or anything else, they can do so at their own expense). It is great for kids 10 and under (but all ages are welcome). At noon, the second event will begin at the BN HQ. There will be lunch provided (once again to soldiers and their families), as well as activities for kids (pumpkin bowling, pinata, bounce house, etc.). Again, people can choose to attend one, or both, events.

Spouses: Make sure you are in communication with your spouse about your holiday desires (as far as time off goes). Soldiers MUST put in for leave over exodus and can do so now.

There will be a Stress Reduction Lunch on Thursday, October 15 at BN HQ. It is open to all soldiers and family members. It will be from 1130-1300. People can come and go, grab food and leave, or stay around and chat. It will be catered by Sweet Water BBQ. No RSVP needed. Just show up!
